Tesla Consultants has, on a number of occasions, been engaged to review planned wind generation sites for possible conflict with existing radio services.  This is a part of the planning consent process for every wind farm installation. Utilising our Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment “approved Radio Certifier” status, details of all nearby radio licensing is obtained, and locations of all nearby repeaters, plus frequency bands used identified.

Each radio license was then assessed, including plotting paths and clearances, providing our client a map and detailed report assessing impact on all services from each proposed turbine location.
