Review the protection proposed for the new Contact Energy Wairakei 2 x 11.8 MVA generator connection at Transpower's Wairakei 220 kV Grid Injection Point. This review considered the single line protection design, co-ordination and compliance with Transpower's usual requirements for 220 kV Grid protection, and general compliance with relevant Electricity Governance Rules in place at the time.
