A project to design a green field 220 kV substation comprising a 220 k V GIS bus with two 220 kV cable circuits, one 220/11 kV transformer and 2  220KV bus sections. Engaged as a sub-contractor, Tesla undertook detailed design of the protection, control, metering DC systems and communications.  Also included in the scope were protection relay settings for the 220 kV busbar protection, interconnecting transformer protection, 110 kV and related protections.
